Laughter Lines – Crow’s Feet

These are perhaps one of the more common signs of ageing. Although described as laughter lines, you wonder whether anything was that funny!

Laughter Lines – Crow’s Feet Treatments.

These are sometimes referred to as “Crow’s feet”, and they refer to the creases or fine lines at the outer corner of the eyes, which are engaged whilst you smile or laugh, but with time can be pronounced even when you are not smiling. Botox is very effective to relax the muscles engaged around the eye area when you smile, making the laughter lines much less noticeable, and creating a more youthful appearance.

  • What causes laughter lines?

As with many wrinkles and lines, age and exposure to the sun contributes to the formation of laughter lines. Smoking contributes to the development of these lines too.

  • What is the best treatment for laughter lines?

Botox injections, carefully administered in small doses to the outer eye area will impact on the muscles surrounding the eyes, not only softening the laughter lines, but will bring about a gentle lift to the brow, enhancing the eye area and creating a more youthful appearance.

  • How long does the effect of this treatment of laughter lines with Botox last?

The administration of Botox is medically approved and safe. Botox injections take effect a few days after being administered, and last up to 6 months.

  • Are there any side effects in the treatment of laughter lines?

Botox injections are safe, non surgical and approved. When administered, some people experience short term tenderness, with a little swelling. Sometimes, a mild headache is experienced.

These side effects disappear quickly, and are shown to subside with each treatment.

  • Who will perform the botox injections for the Laughter Lines - Crow's Feet treatment?

As with all Botox injections treatments, Laughter Lines – Crow’s Feet treatment for men and women is performed by one of our qualified practitioners and supervised by Doctor Maria Gonzalez.
